Someone must have forgotten to tell everyone

that being a lawyer does not instantly make you rich. I can't tell you how many times people have said to me "Well, but you're gonna be rich in four years."

Um.....no. Not really. Not at all. Unless being a lawyer means

1. I can buy more lottery tickets
2. They hand you a really large check with your diploma
3. They hand you a really rich husband with your diploma

Other than that, I don't think instantaneous riches come with the paper.
