Rain, Rain, Blah

Streets are flooded all over town. Makes driving to work a frelling pain.

In other news, I was checking out the hometown paper online today and came across this great line: "Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan dropped a fiscal brick in the inaugural punchbowl Wednesday." (Scott Reeder/qconline.com)

Its the same news that every other state is getting this time of year, although Illinois was smart enough to vote for change in the fed. gov. I just thought it was a nice turn of phrase and bit of imagery.


Let's hope it doesn't get cold enough to freeze all this rain until after the evening rush hour.
