Obiter Dictum

Woman's virtue is man's greatest invention --- Cornelia Otis Skinner

Hey, that looks like....

The Star had a very interesting article today about the ability (or not) of video game makers to use the "likeness" of NCAA athletes in their games, and the fine line that must be walked. I am HORRIBLE at sports games, so the only time I see them is when someone else is playing.

It makes sense, of course, that the NCAA would not want to be promoting players. They are, after all, supposed to be amateur, right? (i said supposed to be!) But, of course, there are work arounds for this. (You can name the players yourself, so all you have to do is get ahold of a roster.....which is available from any school website, or probably any number of other places.)

I don't know. It was interesting, anyway.
