darn you, Cameron

I'm not much of a Cameron Diaz fan. I don't detest her, I'm just not crazy about her. I can take her or leave her. You know. Anyway, I finally finished watching In Her Shoes, and I loved it. That's right. I. Loved. It. It was wonderful and she was wonderful in it. So there.

One of the previews today was for 1408.

I won't be seeing this movie unless you promise to come with me and hold my hand....... and I get ice cream afterwards. Yes, it freaked me out that much.

At the movies

It was better than I thought it would be. Highly entertaining, and, you know, Mark Wahlberg. Hard to go wrong there. Ned Beatty was a shit. Michael Peña was good. But, I usually like him too so, again, no surprise.

What WAS a surprise was that I paid $8.50 to see a movie at 4 in the effing afternoon.


Go see it. It was good.

Today's Movie: Half Nelson

I'm not sure what I think of this movie. I think it is brilliantly acted. There is not one weak performance in this film. But, I hate the way it ended.

If anyone has seen this movie, I'd love to know what you thought of it.
